About Dr. Christopher Greenwaldt D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Christopher Greenwaldt was born and raised in Roscoe, Illinois, and attended Hononegah High School. He is incredibly excited to return to the state-line area and join the team at Rockford Endodontics.

Dr. Greenwaldt earned a Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in microbiology from Western Illinois University. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Greenwaldt completed a general practice residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and also obtained a Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
Prior to specializing, he practiced general dentistry for nearly eight years at the Beloit Area Community Health Center. His work experience includes serving as dental director and providing comprehensive adult and pediatric dental services. He also held hospital privileges at Beloit Memorial Hospital to perform dentistry in an operating room setting. His commitment to general dentistry led him to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Beyond patient care, he is passionate about teaching, having served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry from 2017 to 2025.

Dr. Greenwaldt recently completed a two-year endodontic residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he earned his endodontic certificate and a Master's degree in oral sciences. During his training, he had the privilege of learning from highly regarded faculty members, which fostered his particular interest in the use of lasers for surgical applications, including their role in advanced irrigation technique.
